The philosophically-minded, politically-inclined, and ever-so-serious Teju Cole has just graced us with a tender story about a New York gas station attendant and his troubles with love and women.
The story is titled “Second God” and was commissioned by BBC’s Radio 4 from Cole.
“Second God” is not available in print. The story comes in the form of a 15-minute audio clip voiced by Riz Ahmed, the English actor and rapper of Pakistani descent popularly known as Riz MC.
Great! We can now add romance writer to Cole’s long list of talents.
