The African Book Festival took place in Berlin on July 16 and 17 at the Openair Kino in Rehberge. The event, which was supposed to have taken place last year, was postponed due to COVID-19 restrictions. It’s good to see that it finally held, with Angolan writer and musician Kalaf Epalanga curating.
Writers such as Musa Okwonga, Ibrahim Abubakar, Chimeka Garricks, Bisi Adjapon, Sulaiman Addonia, and many more were featured.
We pulled up some photos from African Book Festival’s instagram page to share with you. Enjoy!
