During Christmas, on 27 December, the Indian novelist Amitava Kumar shared this drawing of himself on Instagram. The sketch was done by his friend, Teju Cole. Kumar wrote:

Here’s my author photo, kinda-sorta, by my main man, Teju Cole.

Going by a previous photo Kumar shared on 25 December, of Teju Cole reading James Salter’s Dusk, it seems like they had a cool Christmas together. And it appears Teju Cole really can do it all—write, photograph, curate music, draw.
