The 11th edition of Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie’s creative writing workshop took place in Lagos from November 20 to November 30, 2018. Formerly the Farafina Trust Creative Writing Workshop, the event returned after its postponement in 2017 as the Purple Hibiscus Trust Creative Writing Workshop, sponsored by Trace Nigeria.

Twenty-two participants were selected, housed for ten days, and taught by Chimamanda, Dave Eggers, Tash Aw, and Lola Shoneyin. It was closed by the Purple Hibiscus Literary Evening. We will be bringing you an exclusive video of the participants receiving their certificates from Chimamanda at the Literary Evening.
