The Nigerian novelist Tochi Onyebuchi was on Trevor Noah’s The Daily Show to discuss his new YA book Riot Baby. It tells the story of Ella who has an extraordinary gift that allows her to see into the future, and the burden on her when her protective brother Kev is incarcerated. It was named one of Brittle Paper‘s Anticipated Books of 2020.
Onyebuchi is the author of Beasts Made of Night, winner of the Nommo Award for Best Speculative Fiction Novel; its sequel Crown of Thunder; and War Girls.
