Nigerian novelists Abubakar Adam Ibrahim and Ukamaka Olisakwe have both joined the Lagos-based publishing house Masobe Books.
Founded in 2019, the press has Adaobi Tricia Nwaubani, Chimeka Garricks, Michael Afenfia, and TJ Benson on its roster.
Masobe Books announced on Twitter that it will publish Ibrahim’s second collection of short stories titled Dreams and Assorted Nightmares and the Nigerian edition of Olisakwe’s forthcoming novel Ogadinma which has already received advance praise from Rob Spillman and Chinelo Okparanta.
Release dates for both books are yet to be announced.
