A few weeks ago, Spine and Label, a bookstore in Abuja hosted Abubakar Adam Ibrahim. Ibrahim read to a packed room from his recent collection Dreams & Assorted Nightmares published by Masobe books.

The evening was moderated by Nigerian journalist Abdulkareem Baba Aminu, who said on Instagram that it was a night of compelling conversations, engaging guests, and tasty refreshments.

Ibrahim enjoyed sharing his book and a book-themed cake with attendees, noting on Facebook: “I was spoilt with super cool gifts, for which I am grateful, and there was even a sumptuous looking cake designed specially for Dreams and Assorted Nightmares.”
