Kuku is the author of Nearly All The Men In Lagos Are Mad, a collection of short stories published last year. [Read our review here if you missed it.] With the publication of her debut book, she joins the growing list of fashion trendsetters in the African literary scene—a select group of fashion enthusiasts who pull the double duty of writing books and serving looks: Alain Mabanckou,  Taiye Selasi, Chimamanda Adichie, Chibundu Onuzo, Chika Jones, Akwaeke Emezi, Tomi Adeyemi, and Stanford University literature professor Ato Quayson, and others.
