British-Nigerian Actress Kehinde Fadipe’s debut novel is titled The Sun Sets in Singapore and will be coming out fall 2023.

The rights to the novel have been acquired by Grand Central Publishing, an imprint of Hachette Book Group in the U.S., and by Dialogue Books, an imprint of Little, Brown and Company in the U.K. The novel will be published under the title In Such Tremendous Heat in the U.K.

According to Publisher’s Marketplace, Fadipe’s debut work is “a novel of friendship and womanhood about three Nigerian expats – a lawyer, a banker, and a pianist – forced to confront long-buried secrets and desires when a charismatic young lawyer moves to town.” Based on the description and the two titles, it sounds like Fadipe’s novel will have plenty of romance and drama for readers who enjoy novels with a bit of spice.
