Ethiopian author Fitsum Tesfaye Habtemariam will make his debut with a brilliant children’s picture book titled Our World: Ethiopia. The book will be illustrated by Netsanet Tesfay and published by Barefoot Books on October 3.
According to Publisher’s Markertplace, Habtemariam’s Our World: Ethiopia is a children’s board book in which an Ethiopian child enjoys a day in Addis Ababa with her Babi (father). The story sounds absolutely wholesome, and we are sure it will contribute significantly to the growing collection of African children’s literature.
The book is marketed for children between the ages of three months and four years, so this book would be perfect to read aloud to your young baby or toddler and teach them about the sights and scenes in Ethiopian culture. We highly recommend you check out the book this fall!
