Nigerian writer Tomilola Coco Adeyemo hosted friends and readers at an intimate event to celebrate her debut romance novel A Very Gidi Christmas. It was the first ever public reading of the book and was hosted at Angels & Muse art gallery in Lagos on November 16th.

A Very Gidi Christmas was published on October 28th, 2024 by Masobe Books. It is the story of two mutual enemies, Biodun and Kunle, are both hauted by a 12-year-old secret that they are both ashamed of. When the secret becomes a scandal, it threatens both of their career aspirations and their intertwined fates.
