I am a woman
Not by the width of my hips
Or the fullness of my breast
Nor the thickness of my thighs

I am a woman
Not by the tenderness of my touch
Or the grace in my stride
Nor by the smoothness of my skin

I am a woman
Not by the scarf on my hair
Or the fabric hugging my skin
Nor the sweeping of my gown

I am a woman
Not by the versatility of my hands
Or the aroma from my kitchen
Nor by service to your stomach

I am a woman
Not by the instrumentality of my womb
Or the sparkle of my floor
Nor the elasticity of my waist

I am a woman
Not by the kissing of your feet
Or the leaning on your shoulders
Nor the scent of my fear

I am a woman
Not by the weakness of my bones
Or the fragility of my heart
Nor the flushing of my eggs

I am a woman
By the wealth of my heart
By the strength of my mind
By the wonder of my body

I am a woman
Carrying the world well
She weighs not only on my shoulders
But in my womb
She tears me apart to exist but…

I am a woman I am an achiever
I am a fighter I am the difference
I am the hope
My crown is missing but I’ll take it.

I am a woman
I have from the very beginning
Been ordained a Queen.
