In November of last year, interviewer and blogger Geosi Gyasi of Geosi Reads hosted Romeo Oriogun, winner of the 2017 Brunel Prize, for the Korle Gonno Community Library Visiting Writers Series in Ghana. Gyasi had previously interviewed Romeo for his blog.

The event, which had in attendance students from some secondary schools, featured a reading by Romeo Oriogun, of his “The Origin of Butterflies,” the title poem from his chapbook in the forthcoming New-Generation African Poets: A Chapbook Box Set (Tano). There were also a conversation and dance performances.

Here are photos from the event.
