The University of Nebraska Lincoln (UNL) will be hosting a night of poetry, art and music, courtesy of the Lied Centre for Performing Arts.

The virtual event, which is curated by Ghanaian poet and professor Kwame Dawes, will draw from the poetry of late American poet Lucile Clifton, a two-time finalist for the Pulitzer Prize whose work explores the intricacies of African-American experiences.

The event will feature performances of poetry by selected poets including Jamaica Baldwin, Saddiq Dzukogi and Mesonjixx performing from their own work as well as selection of poems from Lucile Clifton.
