Ghanaian-Kittitian author Faye Acheampong is set to publish a romance novel about a love story between a famous singer and a prince. The book will be published by Harlequin Romance.

Although the book is yet to be titled, we have some juicy details about the main plot. In the book, a retired pop singer and a prince who were once childhood pen pals are reunited in the Maldives and get a second chance at love. What an absolutely blissful tale!

Faye Acheampong is a writer of Ghanaian and Kittitian origin, born and raised in London. At the age of 16, she penned her first novel and uploaded it to the international online storytelling platform, Wattpad. She has since gone on to experiment with various forms of storytelling, ranging from text-based roleplaying to playwriting.

Acheampong is an alum of VAULT Festival’s New Writers Programme 2021. She was announced as the winner of Mills & Boon’s Love To Write mentorship in 2022 – a competition for romance writers from underrepresented ethnic backgrounds, hosted in partnership with Love Island winner Amber Rose Gill. The manuscript for her debut novel The Christmas That Changed Everything (2023) was selected as the winning entry.
