FF Projects recently published their third Manifold book, “Lagos I Love You, But…” which included work from many different creators, including Nigerian novelist Eloghosa Osunde, author of the critically acclaimed novel Vagabond, Aliyah Ogunsanya, Busola Bello, Jomi Marcus-Bello, Stephen Tayo, and more. The focus of this edition is on “home and homecoming” centered in Lagos, Nigeria.
Osunde’s contribution to the zine is based off of the complex question “what would you say to someone you’re no longer in contact with in a one way voicemail, with a promise to not be contacted in return?” She said in an Instagram post that the idea came from a character Awele N., from her forthcoming novel. [Hint for fans who keenly anticipating her second novel, Necessary Fiction.]
