London-based organization REWRITE will host a Creative Reset writing retreat this October in Bali, Indonesia!

Founded by Congolese-British writer Christina Fonthes in 2018, REWRITE is global community dedicated to empowering Black women and women of color writers. REWRITE offers mentorship, writing courses, a supportive membership platform, and annual retreats for writers to unplug and focus on their craft.

The retreat in Bali promises to help writers reignite their creative spark and weave self-care and wellness into their writing and artistic practices, while enjoying the landscapes and culture of Indonesia. The Creative Reset retreat is designed specifically for Black women and women of color.

The retreat offers opportunities to engage in wellness experiences, including daily yoga and meditation sessions, nourishing plant-based meals, and cultural excursions such as trips to Kanto Lampo Waterfalls and Tirta Empul Temple.

The writing workshops offered on this retreat are Finding the Spark / Recovering from Creative Burnout, Routes into Publishing, and Poetry Workshop & Open Mic Night, offering opportunities for both creative and professional development.

The Creative Reset retreat promises a space of sisterhood and community for working through creative blocks, finding inspiration, and following your dreams of becoming a published author.
