Explore African Literature
by Ainehi Edoro
Aminatta Forna posted this photo of herself and Alain Mabanckou smiling away into the camera at the International Booker Prize ceremony.
The Congolese novelist, looking dapper in a hat and a spot coat, was one of the nominees. Forna, known for her novels, The Memory of Love and The Hired Man, is lovely in a black dress.
Looks like they’re having a great time.
Have a great weekend!
