Months ago we announced that Nnedi Okorafor had been named a TED Global Speaker for the 2017 conference in Arusha, Tanzania. Now a video of her talk, titled “Sci-Fi Stories That Imagine a Future Africa,” has been uploaded by TED. In it, she talks, for nine minutes, about science fiction and Africa’s future. In three days, the video has racked up an impressive 382,328 views.
