Nigerian-American fantasy writer Jordan Ifueko announced on Instagram that she has written a comic book for Jim Henson’s The Storyteller: Trickster series.

The series is based on the Emmy Award-winning television show The StorytellerJim Henson, FYI, is the creator of the Muppets.

Ifueko’s comic is the second in the series. She wrote Tricksters #2 in collaboration with graphic artist, Erin Kubo.

A teen Yoruba village girl summons the great god of mischief, Eshu, to coerce her crush, a dashing hunter, to break up with his sweetheart and marry her instead. Ifueko is The New York Times best-selling author of the YA Fantasy series, Raybearer, which was published in August 2020. The 27 year-old began conceptualizing the series at 13, and her style of world-building has been compared to the likes of Tomi Adeyemi, Tochi Onyebuchi, and Nnedi Okorafor.
