Nnedi Okorafor recently shared an image on Instagram and Facebook that suggests a collaboration with The Walt Disney Company.
The image is just that of The Walt Disney Company’s logo next to a Docusign logo. The only hint Okorafor gave as to what this image might be about is: “…my relationship with The Mouse deepens.”

We’re imagining a contract of some sort has been signed, but we have no other details. A quick Google search shows that a feature-length animated film Okorafor created with Wanuri Kahiu, The Camel Racer, had been selected to be part of the inaugural Triggerfish Story Lab, a program sponsored in part by the Walt Disney Company. But that news is from 2015.
Could this mysterious image be in reference to The Camel Racer? Or another project? We wait with bated breath, but you can be sure that we’ll be bringing you news about it!
