African Writers Trust is facilitating a workshop for early career writers and readers. The 5-day residential program will be held at the picturesque Hotsprings Villa, Kampala, Uganda and will bring together writers and readers engaging in a variety of literary activities. It is open to “writers seeking to develop their craft and produce publishable works as well as readers interested in expanding their knowledge and methods for reading and analysing works by creative writers.”

The workshop facilitators include award-winning novelist Jennifer Nansubuga Makumbi, Mildred K. Barya, Okey Ndibe, Goretti Kayomuhendo and Otieno Owino.

The Residency will run from 27th April to 2nd May, 2021.

The workshop cost is $450.
