On 22 September, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie’s Nigerian publishers, Narrative Landscape Press, hosted her in Victoria Island, Lagos. The event, themed “An Evening with Chimamanda,” took place at The Workstation, 7 Ibiyinka Olorunbe Close, Victoria Island, Lagos. There were conversations around her two most recent books, We Should All Be Feminists (2014) and Dear Ijeawele, or A Feminist Manifesto in Fifteen Suggestions (2016). Attendance was free and tickets finished within hours.

In an email to Brittle Paper, Dr Eghosa Imasuen, Business Development Director of Narrative Landscape Press and author of the novel Fine Boys (2012), had stated that they hoped for more people to “contribute your voice to those of people interested in looking beyond stereotypes and social norms to recognize our common humanity.”
