Brittle Paper is excited to announce the 2026 submission call for our annual festive anthology!
This year, we are delving into festive secrets! There’s something about the holidays that inspires us to open up. Whether it be a Secret Santa gift, a confession of love, family mysteries unfolding over dinner tables, or festive wishes sent with some subtext, the season of surprises is upon us!
We’re looking for stories, poems, or even non-fiction works that explore the topic of confessions, mysteries, secret gifts, or long-held secrets that are unravelled, unwrapped, or left unsaid during festive occasions. Whether it be scandalous, heart-warming, funny, or mysterious, this anthology will be a collection of oohs and aahs.
Submissions are now open, so be sure to submit by 23 November 2026.
