Bakwa Magazine is a literary publication based in Cameroon that aims to generate intelligent discussion about literary and cultural production on the continent. The magazine will host a literary festival on Instagram Live from May 15-19 in celebration of Cameroonian literature and writers.

According to their website, “Conversations will range from the role of the writer in times of conflict to discussions on recent and forthcoming books as well as book recommendations, and literary translation among other things.”

Featured guests include: Hemley Boum, Max Lobe, Dibussi Tande, Florian Ngimbis, Mutt-Lon, Babila Mutia, Clementine Ewokolo Burnley, Ejob Nathanael Ejob, Agogho Franklin and Djhamidi Bond.
