Africanfuturist writer Nnedi Okorafor stays busy. Yesterday, her fans got a peek into her life as a driven, hardworking creative when she shared a post on Instagram listing her “current TV/Film projects,” adding that she is also working on the third book in the Akata series.

Instagram Caption:

Here are my current tv/film projects, so that it’s all in one place.
Also, I’m currently working on The 3rd Akata novel in the series. Note: No “congrats”, please; this is what I do and it’s not new. Just want it all clear. 😊

All these come in the midst of having two books set for publication this year in addition to being a finalist for the Locus Award.

She noted in the caption she shared this not to get “congrats” but simply to share what she’s been up to. Notwithstanding, the 200+ comments on the past have fans expressing appreciation for her achievements and excitement for all the forthcoming projects.
