Noisy Streetss Publishing is accepting manuscript submissions from African writers on the continent and in the diaspora for its 2026 publishing slate. The young publishing house, committed to placing African writers on the global literary map, is seeking five to ten publications with special interest in high-quality African romance, love stories, and literary fiction. They welcome a wide range of submissions including fiction (romance, literary, contemporary, speculative, historical), non-fiction (memoirs, personal essays, cultural commentary), poetry collections, anthologies, historical and cultural projects, and works written in indigenous or traditional African languages.

Writers can submit one unpublished manuscript per submission window by sending a short author query in the email body along with two Word documents: a one-page synopsis that summarizes the storyline, major plot points, and ending, plus either the first three chapters, first 9,000 words, or first three pieces for poetry/essay collections. Manuscripts must be formatted in Source Sans 11pt font, single-spaced, center-justified on A4 pages. Submissions should be sent to [email protected] with the subject line: Author Name — Title of Manuscript (Genre). The editorial team reviews all submissions and responds within four weeks if interested in moving forward. For full guidelines and questions, writers can visit noisystreetss.com or contact the submissions email.
