Our colleagues at James Murua’s Literature Blog are among the winners of the 2018 Sanaa Theatre Awards in Kenya. The blog’s founder and literary journalist James Murua was named “Best Theatre, Art and Culture Writer,” ahead of Time Mworia of Kenyabuzz.com, Antony Njagi of Daily Nation, Caroline Nyanga of The Standard, and Bill Odidi of KBC.
Founded in 2012, James Murua’s Literature Blog‘s coverage of news and events has seen it become one of the pillars of the African online literary scene. Earlier this year, the blog launched a weekly African Literary Podcast.
