In case you missed it, this past holiday season Ghanaian American author Nadia Owusu partnered with jeweler Pandora for a series of short stories about Christmas, family, and the joys of the holiday. Owusu penned four short stories for the Pandora For Every Story campaign and read them on videos posted on the brand’s YouTube page. Owusu wears pieces from Pandora’s Moments and Timeless collections in the videos.

In an interview with Russh magazine about the collaboration, Owusu describes some of her own traditions and her inspiration for the stories used in the campaign. Specifically, she writes that

There is such anticipation and excitement around this holiday season after so many of us missed out on our favourite moments last year. That’s what I wanted to capture in the stories I wrote for Pandora.

Congratulations to Owusu on this amazing partnership! Her literary career has been on the up-and-up with the publication of her bestselling book Aftershocks, which, among many other accolades, was on President Obama’s Favorite Books of the Year list and Brittle Paper’s 50 Notable African Books of 2021. This collaboration is a reflection of how much her work resonates in the culture.
