A benefit concert held on January 10, 2026, at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles raised $5.5 million for children’s medical support in Palestine and Sudan.
The third edition of Artists for Aid was organized by Canadian Sudanese artist Mustafa the Poet and co-hosted by Bella Hadid and Pedro Pascal. Funds were directed to the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund and the Sudanese American Physicians Association. All participating artists performed without compensation. The lineup featured Alex G, Blood Orange, Clairo, Daniel Caesar, Faye Webster, Geese, Jazmine Sullivan, Lucy Dacus, Noname, Omar Apollo, Raphael Saadiq, Ravyn Lenae, Rex Orange County, Shawn Mendes, Snoh Aalegra, Tamino, and 070 Shake. The evening included surprise appearances, with Chappell Roan joining Lucy Dacus’s set and Maggie Rogers performing “Youth” alongside Shawn Mendes.
Poets Noor Hindi and Safia Elhillo delivered performances addressing the ongoing crises in Palestine and Sudan. Two children evacuated from Gaza for medical treatment attended the concert. Following the event, Mustafa shared on Instagram: “We raised 5.5 million dollars for the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund and the Sudanese American Physicians Association, a historic victory for people being buried at the hands of hells that are subsidized by us. I am forever indebted to every artist, every organizer, every believer. I am nothing but a bridge and if all I’ve done in this life is walk artists to each other, and walk artists to people whose voices are missing, then I’ve lived a life worth dying for.” Such powerful message!
The program combined music, poetry, and humanitarian messaging, alternating between performances and direct appeals for the causes at hand. The event served as one of the most significant cultural fundraisers for Sudan during its civil war, a conflict that has received less international attention than Palestine despite its devastating impact.
Artists for Aid demonstrated how musicians and poets can mobilize their platforms for humanitarian causes while centering affected communities. The $5.5 million raised will provide medical support for children in both Palestine and Sudan, offering tangible relief amid ongoing violence and displacement.
